Hey Daniel J. Lewis, it's Seth from Philadelphia Entrepreneurs Enigma.com is my WordPress website for my podcast that is weekly. I just listened to your podcast about should we leave WordPress. I agree with you on some aspects of it because a lot of times you don't need WordPress for a podcast. You know, pod page is good enough. I was talking to Dave Jackson at Podcast Movement this past week and I said tell my clients if you just need a basic website that just freaking works, don't do WordPress. But if you want to do more with it than pod page or the podcast pages that come with the hosting, yeah WordPress is a valid option I still think. I do believe that you know outdated technology, PHP has been outdated forever. It's updated constantly. I don't think it's outdated, I think it's old. I think a lot of people are bossed on it and saying it's old, it's old, so is Fortran. Well Fortran's dead, granted. But I think that if you're building a website and you want to have functionality beyond the basic website, then WordPress is the way to go. Because you have more control over how things go, yes you have to keep things updated and whatnot, it's a little more technical. But if you're gonna go for it in the long run, go WordPress. If you just need something that just works and you're not into hacking things together or having a good time with it, then pod page is the way to go in my opinion. Or a decent host has a decent page for you. My two cents buddy, give up the good work.
